A legacy forged in leather
Jeengar is not a name we invented. Jeen-Garmeans “the saddle-maker,” the title carried by our community for five centuries. It is a lineage, not a label: a promise that every piece is shaped by hands that inherited their skill, not learned it from a manual.
From the age of kings
For generations, the Jeengar community were the master leatherworkers of Rajasthan’s royal courts, crafting the saddles for the legendary Marwari horses and the finest leatherwork for the palaces. Ours was the leather kings rode into history on.
A timeless skill, in a changing world
As the age of kings faded, the demand for royal saddles waned, but the skill never did. It was kept alive, passed from parent to child through the quiet discipline of daily practice. Today we turn that same mastery to modern heirlooms: pieces made slowly, by hand, to be carried for a lifetime.
