The supple leather form of each bag is shaped by Ravi, an artisan with a deep understanding of leather's potential. The hand embroidery is then worked thread by thread in the Kashidakari tradition, each motif — Padmini's Tree of Life, Hadi's mandala, Moomal's desert star, Sanyogita's joyful blooms and Mira's poetry of flowers — taking shape stitch by stitch on the leather. No two bags are ever identical: the hand-stitched motifs carry the small, beautiful variations that only human hands can make.
